If I fail a class what happens?

Hello! I recieved a $40,000 scholarship and I get $10,000 each year if I keep up a 2.7 GPA. What happens if I fail a class in college, and I get decent grades in the other classes. I'm scared that I won't be able to keep the scholarship and I was also wondering what are the grades I would need to keep up if I wanted my GPA to say above a 2.7.

I'm scared!

Thank you! =)

Update:

This is for the coming year I haven't entered college yet! =)

Holy sh!t!? If you're a good enough student to receive a $40,000 scholarship why are you failing!!?? lol

    And isn't 2.7 only like a B?

I guess if you fail you'd need to make that credit up later, and hope that it doesnt tank your GPA too badly.

Well you will automatically get the $10,000 for the first year because you will have a 4.0 gpa because you haven't taken classes yet. But after your freshman year, if you don't have at least a 2.7 then you will lose your scholarship. You really need to try and get AT LEAST all B's because if you get a C it could cause you to go below the 2.7 mark because you will have so few GPA hours that your GPA will easily fluctuate during the first year until you start to accumulate more hours.

Pace yourself and take some easy classes mixed with hard classes so that you don't stress yourself out too much and cause yourself to put your scholarship in jeopardy.

wow that's a pretty good deal, well just try your best to excel in all classes, if you happen to slack off, your hard earned scholarship will go right down the drain, you can still maintain a 2.7 GPA if you fail 1 class but are passing the others, but that seems a little too risky don't you think? Try your best, find good study partners and get the work and material down, the last thing you want to do in college is worrying about keeping your scholarhip, just work hard! Trust me it'll pay off and you can be less tense bout it =)

If you are taking at least 4 classes, and you get A's in the other 3 you will have above a 2.7. Otherwise, you are in great danger

i do no longer think of you would be in that subject in case you have been actual the only buying your training! i think of the subsequent time you're taking that class it comes out of your paycheck and that i'm particular you will get an A.
