Help needed with making a logo to protect my volunteer group,?
I have recently started a volunteer group at my gym. It has really taken off and now the gym is getting alot of recogognition because of it. It was completly my idea and I do all the work and organizing of the volunteer events that we do. Now they want to put their logo with the name of my volunteer group on it. I love the work that I am doing and would like to keep the name that I have created and continue to do the volunteer work even when I no longer belong to this gym, The owners are looking to make it theirs. What do I do?
I think they are trying to get a Logo before I get one, That kinda sux because this is an All Star youth Cheer leading gym and we are supposed to be family

Well that is something you can only ask yourself. Would you be reconized for something you created and found, or do you want to give it up to a business after you've worked hard to get it started. If I were you I would start an organization/business tye. Get registered and get all the legality papers and what not on the organization. If you decide to allow them put their logo with the name, then they'll have the right to everything involved. Or you can possibly do a contract.
