NO ABSOLUTELY NOT! It is NEVER appropriate to wear nylons with open toed shoes. Anyone who is telling you to wear NYLONS WITH OPEN TOE SHOES is not someone I'd take advice from unless you are 80 years old- Like the old woman who wear knee highs with their sandals, that is what you will look like-you don't want that. Any guy that wants to see a woman dressed that way, ESPECIALLY at a formal event, should start hanging at convalescent homes. If you are going to a evening, formal event, you want to look classy and feel beautiful and sexy, so slap some self tanner on those legs and wear the strappy shoes. I found awesome self tanner which is the Jergens Glow you can get anywhere and not expensive get the medium or dark, the light does nothing. And remember to wash your hands well and you are good to go. Have fun!

I would never wear pantyhose with open toe shoes regardless of how formal the event, it just doesn't look right. I would say to maybe get some sunless lotion and use it on your legs for a few days prior to the event so your legs aren't so pale and ditch the hose. If your shoes are closed toe shoes then you can wear hose, but you certainly do not have to.

It also depends on the location and culture. In most of the North, "respectable" women always wear hose when going out. If you are with Pacific Islanders, they'll have no idea what you are talking about when you ask about hose.

When in doubt, dress more conservatively.

Not much other kids wear it but if you want to you could.Should your legs are pale maybe you should.If you dont try to put lotiton or skin cream.Or just wear leggins.

day or evening. if you have tan or have nice legs don't worry about wearing it. and it depends on your dress.
