Aesop's fables vs Africa's and ancient Egyptian civilization vs Mesopotamia's?

I believe whole- heartedly that aesop's fables are african not Greek. However assuming that my belief is right, and in light of my knowledge of the two great civilization; Egypt and mesopetimia, a cronological; or I would rathar say time-factor regarding the two civilizations can be considered about the african originality of aesop's fables; one more evidence to add to the list.

What is the time-factor?...And whether you believe or not in the african origionality of the fables, please state your reasons!

NP: If you read carefully, you will find that the answer to the time-factor, lies in between the lines. Good luck

May I throw a wrench into the works here?

There has been wide specualtion that some of Aesops material may well have come from what we know now as India. There is a definitive correllation between the jataka and the fables.

As to Aesop and the timeline....lets see. Aesop wrote his tales in 500/550 BC...or somewhere thereabouts. Egypt was under the control of the Nubians, then the Assyrians, then the Persians from about 700's to 300's. So, there we have an overlapping of Aesop/Egypt/Africa/Mesopotamia. This would mean that there was an interchange of culture. Since Aesop is credited with being born in Phrygia, it isn't impossible that he heard tales brought from Nubia as a child. Having been a slave in Greece, and been freed there, by Xanthas, who is said to have gained some wisdom from Aesops "homely" aphorisms, I'd say it makes a good case for the Nubian origins of his tales. It isn't as though the Greeks don't have a habit of assuming others works as their own. After all, there is a strong case to be made for the decorative arts of Egypt to be the basis of the decorative arts of the Greeks. There is a long history of interchange between the two. (reference the Ptolemaic dynasty)

Platonic writings declare that the Greeks thought themselves children to the learning of the Egyptians, which after all is an African country. Furthermore, that much adored Greek figure Pythagoras was traditionally thought to have studied in Egypt (this may be an allegory implying that he gathered his ideas from Egyptian sources while still being based in the Mediterranean). Therefore it does not surprise me that you have reached this conclusion regarding Aesop's fables. We have no concrete evidence but it is plausible.

Of the two civilizations I would prefer Egypt.

Well you would be correct for Aesop was an African that was living in Greece... Just like the Spartans were a warrior tribe of Africans that also live and died in Greece......... And if the Spartans were more like the Athenians. Their history would different and not have been so short lived.... For they were the greatest warriors that this world has ever know......... Because the only history they ever studied was war and they had no art, or engineers or politicians... And with these things their culture would have been a hell of a lot more more balance...........

i think of the provision of know-how on historical Egypt is the main significant contributor to this incorrect effect. mutually as the Sumerian civilization is a lot older, there is not any longer as lots information attainable. do in simple terms a google seek and you will see that it truly is actual. I wasn't able to looking a million/2 as lots information on the Sumerian civilization as i grew to become into on Egyptian civilization. with the aid of fact the tomb of Tutankamun grew to become into recent in 1922, Egypt fever has gripped hundreds of thousands, myself risk-free. it truly is a disgrace that it is so no longer undemanding to locate information on probably the oldest civilization in historic previous, yet that seems to be the way it truly is.

All the epics descend from the Sumerians & Egyptians; all Greeks did was reintreprete and rewrite documents much older. Such as the epic of Atlantis. Homer did not create that story the egyptians spoke of Atlantis thousnads of years before he was even born they called it Amenti.
