Ipod touch...Ipod Classic? Help!!?

I would go for the iPod touch. I received one not too long ago and absolutely LOVE it.

With a good screen protector the fingerprints are a non-factor and they come by the muliplied thousand. A must-have for a iPod touch.

WiFi service is GREAT. I didnt think I would use that feature much but it really does come in handy. You can even download songs without plugging into a computer or watch YouTube videos.

You can purchase a Classic with more memory if you have an absolutely huge music library, but if you are like the vast majority of iPod users you probably dont have to worry about going with a smaller Touch (they still hold massive amounts of music).

If you watch video's much you MUST go with the iPod Touch (again, unless you want to fit your whole movie collection on it). The screen is probably slightly more than twice as big as the Classic and, personally, I like the interface more.

Bottom line: the iPod touch has many more bells and whistles. If you just want bulk music storage (granted still with great features) go with the classic. If you have an average amount of music and want features such as a larger screen, a calender, contact storage, and internet access then the slick-looking touch is for you.

One thing people arent looking at is the fact the ipod classic has a harddrive and the ipod touch is flash based. This being said, the ipod touch will be able to withstand more bumps or jerks due to the flash memory. The ipod classic has moving parts(the harddrive) inside that are sensitive to movements if they are critical enough. Look at how much space you need and what you might be doing with it to determine which one to buy.

If you have a lot of music, like, more than 8g of music and vids and pics youd wana go thru, id go with classic. That is what I did. there is a lot more room cause it uses a hard drive. Ipod touch is the "new" spiffy one on the block, uses flash memory, only think it goes up to 8g or so right? It really depends on how much music you plan on putting on there. As well as if you want to use the spiffy tough screen or just the regular controls... Plus, you better baby the touch, its a touch screen with all that screen, scratches very easy...

I don't have either, but if you take a look on the apple site it has a lot of pros about both, of course it doesn't have the cons, but I can't really think about any for either

But if your planning to get the iPod touch, just don't get an iPhone =)

They are both good, The big difference is memory. If you like watching stuff on your iPod and never want to have to worry about memory then I would recommend a Classic. If however you don't really want to watch videos and you don't have a colossal music collection and you like the touch feature then get a touch it is as simple as that.

Basically the iPod Touch will give you the capability to use the internet....web browsing or e-mail etc.

The Classic is an iPod with no web browsing ability.

They are both great --- if you want to browse or watch movies with a bigger screen get the iTouch.

The new ipod touch is now a 32 gb but I believe there is more compacity on the classic. Ipod touch's are cool, I have one but a bad thing about it is the battery dies too quickly when on the internet.

This is much better than just a plain i-pod

Ipod Touch, if you are willing to spend a bit more money. It goes on the internet(with wireless), watch youtube movies, has weather, MSN, bigger screens for movies and Lots more cool stuff. The classic ha a lot of memory and can store your basic movies, songs and pictures.

I have an Ipod Classic..still a work of art but id get the ipod touch!!!!
