1.Jerry Rice. There will never be a better one than that.

2.If you wanna look at the numbers I have to go with Chris

Carter. This guy had the gift of Ballerina feet in the Red Zone as well as Terrific Catches on the Sideline. Plus his numbers back it up.

    3. Marvin Harrison. His numbers speak for themselves. But I also wonder if he hadn't played with Peyton if his numbers would look a little worse. But to be Honest the guy uses his body to shield off CB's and has the feet and hands as well as smarts to do it all.

By the way the Raiders have had the best WR's wear the Silver and Black. From names like Fred Bilitnikoff, Tim Brown, Jerry Rice, Randy Moss. Those are some pretty great WR's. But I hate Randy because he never gave it every thing he had. To waste that Talent is a Sin.

I hate to say this, but so far nobody has hit the mark on the clear #2 of all time:

    1. Jerry Rice

    2. Don Hutson- at the time of his retirement, held literally every receiving record possible. considered by some the greatest WR ever, top 2 by almost all experts. the true pioneer of the position, way above anyone besides rice.

    3. Tim Brown- close call over Biletnikoff and swan, but you said it yourself his numbas r sick.

    1. Jerry Rice - Quite possibly the greatest football player to ever live, hands down the best receiver ever.

    2. Chris Carter - Number 2 behind Rice in career receptions and TD receptions, 1000 career receptions, 120+ catch seasons twice in his career, played a big part in developing Randy Moss.

    3. Marvin Harrison - Single season record holder for receptions, current record holder for receptions per season average, only player to have 4 consecutive 100 reception seasons.

Jerry Rice #1 hands down. Tim Brown #2. I like it . I hate to say it but I would have to give #3 to Randy Moss. He's a pain in the rear end, but he is probably the third best I've ever seen or heard of. I'm a huge Raiders fan and am glad he's gone, but I have to give him his due.

    1. Definitely Rice

    2. Steve Largent

    3. 3 way tie - Don Hutson, Tim Brown and Chris Carter slips in.

Irvin was a good receiver, but could be maybe number one if he did well off the field as he did on the field.
