Frequency of green light wavelengths of 5.20 x 10 to the -7th power with speed of 3.00 x 10 to the 8th power?

Green light has a wavelength of 5.20 x 10 to the -7th power m. the speed of light is 3.00 x 10 to the 8th power m/s. calculate the frequency of green light waves with this wavelength

Please help D: I have no idea what to do.

    the frequency of light can be calculated by dividing the speed of light by it's wavelength

    Freq= C/Wavelength

    so....(3.00x10^8 m/s) / (5.2x10^-7)= 5.77 x 10^14 per second

    p.s. I think the units for frequency are Hertz per second

    speed of light = wavelength * frequency the only unknown is frequency you can solve answer 6 X 10^14 Hz

    frequency = speed/wavelength

    frequency = 3.00x10^8 / 5.20x10^-7

    frequency = 5.76 x10^14

    C = (wavelength) * (frequency)

    so just plug in

    3E8 = 5.2E-7 * frequency

    Frequency = 5.769 Hz

    The units of Hertz are cycles per second.
