83' Mercedes 380 sel?

It is possible that my benz will not start due to blown head gasket? Mechanic says that cylinders are loosin pressure i didn't understand much of what he said i need help understanding...... car sounds like its about to start but it doesn't, any suggestions?

    If it has over 75000 miles on it then yes that is a possibility and the battery is in good condition.

    head gaskets can blow from constant overheating and hard starts from stop lights.

    it is possible,

    if your compression is bad you will need a rebuild.
