my neighbor knocked at my door 2 hours ago to tell me that my car was smoking, so i hurry out and popped the hood, and saw my brake fluid reservoir smoking, well its actually it was the wires that connect to the brake fluid reservoir that are smoking. so i disconnected them and it stopped. i have waited 2 hours and i tried connecting them and as soon as they come into contact it starts smoking again. now i need to run out to go to school and i'm stuck and i dont know if its safe to drive around with the harness disconnected.or what could possibly be making those wires smoke? EMERGENCY HELP PLZ.

how do you determine wich side is the left or right side of the engine of my 1983 mercedes 380 sel, like for example do i have to be standing outside in front of it or is it the driving position, how can you tell?

i'm thinking of buying a ford taurus with blown head gasket i dont know wether to tow it or drive it home..... distance from my house and the place where it is parked is about 10 miles... but if i decide to drive it will break down on me on the way, or will anything else mess up i need some recommendations from experts

my car starts and it sounds it is already going 80 miles an hour,and it also feels like using up a lot more gas than ever......what could possibly be the problem?oh yeah it also shakes its annoying, but everything could be related ' cause it wouldn't do it before.......

my cars starts fine but when i shift to fast it kind of looses power or it turns off for about half a second, my neighbor said i could be the torque converter but he also said he doesn't exactly know what a bad torque converter sounds like. also my car shakes waaay to much i think it needs motor mounts but i don't know, i will consider all answers for best................
