Well she could have just worked herself up and maybe even got a little overheated, if you're outside and it's hot where you are....but it could also be the beginning of a stomach bug. You will know soon enough. My 2 yr old daughter got a stomach bug like that about three months ago, and she seemed fine right before. She had no fever, and was acting normally--playing, talking, etc. The only thing she wasn't doing was eating very much. She seemed normal otherwise, when all of a sudden, URP--she threw up all over her high chair....then she threw up many more times after that. Stomach bugs are pretty common in toddlerhood though, so if it turns out that she does seem to have one, just keep her hydrated. My daughter's stomach became so sensitive during her illness that she couldn't even keep down water. We had to give her ginger ale (the doctor okayed it) thru a medicine dropper. So even if it gets that bad, there are ways to keep them hydrated. In any case, stomach bug or not, it's always a good idea to keep Pedialyte frozen pops in the freezer. (They taste way better than the liquid. The liquid is NASTY.) Extra electrolytes, especially in the summertime, aren't going to hurt. Have her suck on one of those, just to keep her hydrated. And if she does want to drink water, have her drink it slowly, so as not to maker herself sick again. Hope this helps! :)

Correction - you are going through a running off phase! lol - Lots of unfinished conversations as you have to keep an eye on him/her and you're off running at a moments notice! You have to chase them down, but look at the perks - weight loss! This is going to be a time of repeating yourself over and over - in parking lots and crossing roads, hold his hand and if he refuses, pick him up, and repeat, repeat, repeat...that the cars can't see him, so he has to hold your hand. He can be more independent in the park and back yard! I have friends that tied their twins in a wagon with seat belts - this delayed their ability to learn what is proper, and their boys were running off long after my kids had stopped all that. Another good trick is to point out other children that are running off - and tell your child - "Look what she is doing? That is dangerous! She could get hurt when she runs away from her mommy like that..." again, over and over! It takes a long time to take hold, but it has to happen some time, so just make this the time! It will be over quicker the more consistent you are, and if he/she never gets very far (which would inadvertently reward the behavior).

Maybe she just over played her self after eating and gave her self a tummy ache... It happens. Try giving her some pedialyte. If she isnt running a fever I wouldnt worry unless the throwing up dosnt stop then I would call your doctor. Make sure shes plenty hydrated

If you're scared then call a doctor!

This has happened to my son before too. It was about 1/2 hour after lunch and he had so much energy and was running around. I guess he was running around too much and he threw up, he was fine after that. If you are scared you should call a doctor though, trust your instincts

If she can't stop then you really need to call the doctor or hosptial!!

    Running and giggling = barfing.
