It's definitely Laugh and Cry, I knew it the first time I heard the Theme Song. Also, the Family Guy Season DVDs subtitle it as 'Laugh and Cry'. Although a few times the people who close caption TV captioned the line as 'Effin' cry', which made many parents want to take Family Guy off the air.

If you mean the bit were lois is holding stewie and he says something, it is 100% 'laugh and cry' i was unsure and sometimes i think it sounds like 'effin' cry' but i was watching family guy commentry and seth macfarlane corrects on of the voice actors or the crew and says its laugh and cry. as the show is his creation and hes the voice of stewie as well as others im going to go with what he said laugh and cry
