Metric VS American, An unofficial survey?

Do you really have a problem with someone riding an American brand if you drive a Metric brand, or if you ride an American brand, do you have an attitude with someone riding a Metric brand? If so, could you explain why?

Update:

NOT COMPARING !!!!!!!!!!

Wondering if you think all riders share something in common, or if you have attitude against other makes and why

Update 2:

I dont know really first hand about Harley and Crotch rocket thing to tell you the truth, I have seen a couple times, where they were cruising together in a group of 4, thought it was good to see

Update 3:

Thunderroad, I have a 07 VTX 1300R, I thought mine is kind of slow, pulled up to a light the other day, they has a crotch rocket there, I talked to him a minute and said I would race him but I know he would beat my ***, kiddingly, he was surprised I said that, I told him though I was curious what the results would be, so he asked me if I wanted to open it up a little after we turned I said OK, he gave me a 100 foot head start and by 400 feet, he was a 100 feet in front of me, NO CONTEST

I ride a Honda VTX 1300 and pulled up next to a guy about my age one day riding a beautiful Harley best looking one I ever seen .I complemented him on his Bike he complemented me on mine, Light turned green we rode together for a few miles waved to each other once we parted company . Another time Im sitting at a light a guy pulls up to me starts screaming how hes on a Harley and wants to race for money, I said dude this is a VTX you dont stand a chance and he let out curse words about how great his Harley was and how he was going to beat me , To make a long story short I smoked him not only once but 3 times . But it just goes to show you its not the Bike its the person riding the bike and I have meet fellow VTXers that had the same attitude /Ride Safe

I ride my Harley because I love the bike to be honest. I belong to a riding club (not motorcycle club) and we have Harley's, Honda's, a Suzuki sport bike and what ever so long as you pay your dues.

I was riding yesterday and I saw 4 crotch rocket riders weaving in and out of traffic hitting the gas hard pretty much riding real stupid. We all got stopped at a light together and I asked them why they were driving like that giving bikers a bad name they just kinda shook their heads. When we left they all slowed down and kept it clean. I did notice all but one had a 30 day tag so they were just showing their lack of experience.

I would not want to ride with these guys often.

Not me.I really don't care what anyone rides.I've owned all kinds of bikes over the years.I'll ride with anybody too.Freedom of choice to ride whatever makes your panties damp is one of the great things about being an American.Like i have said in posts before i don't understand the people that feel they have to tear down a persons choice of a bike every time the see the bikes name printed here. Why should they care? They don't have to pay for it,fix it,or ride it.Just go ride and be glad we have the freedom of choice to ride whatever we feel like riding.I try to ignore most of the bashing done here. Most of it is good natured fun but there are a few that set me off once in awhile.

The only problem I have is with the loud muffler and the badass poser attitude from foot dragging noobs with brand new bikes and leathers and the guff we get from the fanboys who have never even owned a bike. And the king of the road attitude from someone riding an overweight bike with horsepower in the mid double digits.

If it's just some guy who happens to love the Harley bike for what it is and isn't and has no attitude or loud muffler, I have no problem at all. He's probably the best guy in the world and I probably have alot more in common with him than other sport bike guys.

That said I don't get the whole Harley thing at all. It's corny. I see some dude and his dudette dressed up like gay pirates and I'm just embarrassed for them, it's so douchey.

No way !!! I have owned a Honda cruiser....and I now own a Harley (Road King). I liked the Honda, it was a great bike, but I always had my heart set on a Harley. I don't care what anyone else rides....I wave to em all and hope they ride safely.

I've been in the "cruiser vs rocket" debate, and i've been in the "honda vs harley" debate...

I don't really care what anyone else rides, it only becomes an issue if I'm given an attitude for it...

But i do enjoy a good ribbing over the subjects, and i take it lighhearted usually...

I was teasing my friend when he bought his shadow, though I'll slow down and enjoy a liesurely ride with him....

This obviously is about the Crotch Rocket Vs. Harley idiot act.

Personally I don't care what you ride as long as it has 2 wheels a motor and goes faster than 50MPH.

The same wind blows in my face as does yours when we ride. I give respect where respect is given.

are we comparing cubic inches against cubic centimeters here ?you may need to rephrase you question mate as i am unsure to what you are meaning

ok i dont mind or feel inclined to tell any one what they should or should not ride ,ware or feel inclined to fit to there bikes or what ever,do what you feel is right for you mate though i have noted that some harly riders wont return a wave when passing out on the road
