Converting LP's to digital?

I have a turntable and tons of albums. Is there a simple way to get the songs on the albums converted to digital? Like a adapter we could attach to the receiver that would convert the music to digital files which we could then copy to the Mac?

I'm a PC guy, but this stuff probably is available for Macs as well. There a several products out there designed for copying vinyl to CD. I highly recommend a product called Audio Cleaning Lab, but I don't know if they have a Mac version. If you are using a std turntable it is best to use a preamp between it and the input of your sound card. USB turntables are also available.

I bought a Pioneer PDR-509 digital recorder that makes terrific CDs from my 33s and 78s. 'Course the records themselves are scratchy so that gets recordered too.
