Non- STP Stoichiometry + % yeild?

Potasium chromate, a bright yellow solid, is produced by the reaction of sold chromate ore (FeCr2O4) with solid potassium carbonate and gaseous oxygen at high tempuratures. the other products of the reaction are solid iron (III) oxide and gaseous carbon dioxide. In a particular experiment, 16 kg of chromite ore, 298 kg of potassium carbonate and 75.0 kg of oxygen were sealed into a reaction vessel and reacted at high temperature. The amount of potassium chromate was 194 kg. Calculate the percent yeild of potassium chromate.

I know the balanced equation is

4 FeCr2O4 + 8 K2CO3+ 7 O2 = 8 CrK2O4 + 2 FeO3 + 8 CO3

169 kg 278kg 75kg 194kg

What do I do now? Please explain how you got the answer because I really want to understand how to do this.... thank you!

    %yield = actual yield/theoretical yield

    You are given the actual yield so must calculate the theoretical yield. To calculate the theoretical yield you have to first determine the limiting reactant.

    To determine the limiting reactant calculate the #mol of each reactant in the mixture. There is more than one way to find the limiting reactant. For me the easiest way is to divide the #mol of each reactant by the corresponding coefficient from the balanced equation - then the smallest # is the limiting reactant.

    Then use the # mol of the limiting reactant and the mole ratio to find the theoretical amount of potassium chromate that could be produced by the mixture.
