  • Who does this comedy skit? Where can I find it?

There is a comedy skit that was on TV (probably Comedy Central) that had this whole bit about getting phone calls from an unknown number. The number would leave him messages demanding "Tiffany" call him back. It was essentially him hollering "Tiffany" and it was hysterical!

I would love any leads to 1. Figuring out which comedian it was 2. Finding a clip of the bit.

    Thanks!

  • what Broadway should we see?

Every year my father and I go into NYC to see a show together and this year I'm kind of stuck on what to see. The 3 top contenders are Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Rock of Ages and Million Dollar Quartet. I know these are very different types of shows, but I feel we'd enjoy all three. Any suggestions?

    Shows we've seen together:

    Cats

    Les Miz

    Phantom

    Fiddler on the Roof

    Wicked

    Avenue Q

    Rent

    Drowsy Chaperone

    Young Frankenstien

    Next to Normal

    Other shows I've seen

    Lion King

    Spring Awakening

    Hairspray

    Billy Elliot

    Legally Blonde

    In the Heights

    La Cage

    Promises Promises

    American Idiot

    Memphis

    Shrek

    Spamalot

    Mary Poppins

So yeah, I've seen a lot of what is playing now... I'm kind of stuck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  • musical yearbook quote?

It's time for me to submit my quote for my school's yearbook and I want to have a quote from a musical. I have been super involved with my school's theater program so I thought it was only appropriate to have a quote from theater.

here are a few of my ideas

    I've heard it said

That people come into our lives for a reason

    Bringing something we must learn

    And we are led

To those who help us most to grow

    If we let them

And we help them in return

    Well, I don't know if I believe that's true

But I know I'm who I am today

    Because I knew you..."- Wicked

“Don't dream it, be it". Rocky Horror

"Forget regret, or life is yours to miss" ~Rent

"Anything Can Happen If You Let It. Anything Can Happen If You Just Imagine. If You Chase Your Dreams You Won't Regret It."--- Mary Poppins.

"nothing is an accident. we are free to have it all. we are what we want to be. it's in ourselves to rise or fall."- Aida

"Dontcha let nobody try to steal your fun, cause a little touch of lipstick never hurt no one. The future's got a million roads for you to choose"- Hairspray

Tell me what you think, and PLEASE SUGGEST MORE, because I am not crazy about these.

    Thanks!

  • can you teach an old dog new tricks?

My teacher for psycology class gave us 2 options

    #1 Write a paper

    #2 train an animal

I would love to do train an animal and the most convient one for me is my dog. She is a 5 1/2 year old black lab. Is this to old to train a dog complicated skills? she knows the basic commands and can almost play dead, so she has some skills. I was thinking about reading a story and having her "act" it out. I have until mid january to train her.

    so my basic questions are:

Is she to old to learn new tricks?

Can this be accomplished in the amount of time I have?

What types of things can I have her do?

Do you have any other suggesstions?

    thanks in advance!

  • Non- STP Stoichiometry + % yeild?

Potasium chromate, a bright yellow solid, is produced by the reaction of sold chromate ore (FeCr2O4) with solid potassium carbonate and gaseous oxygen at high tempuratures. the other products of the reaction are solid iron (III) oxide and gaseous carbon dioxide. In a particular experiment, 16 kg of chromite ore, 298 kg of potassium carbonate and 75.0 kg of oxygen were sealed into a reaction vessel and reacted at high temperature. The amount of potassium chromate was 194 kg. Calculate the percent yeild of potassium chromate.

I know the balanced equation is

    4 FeCr2O4 + 8 K2CO3+ 7 O2 = 8 CrK2O4 + 2 FeO3 + 8 CO3

    169 kg 278kg 75kg 194kg

What do I do now? Please explain how you got the answer because I really want to understand how to do this.... thank you!

  • can you solve this riddle? first correct annswer gets 10pts!?

Four people are on one side of a bridge that they need to cross. It is dark, there are holes in the bridge surface, and they only have 1 flashlight which must travel with them as they cross. To add to their troubles, the bridge will only support two people at a time

Person 1- can walk across in 1 min

Person 2- has a limp and takes 2 min

Person 3- has a sprained ankle takes 5 min

Person 4- has a cast on his legs and takes 10 min

No matter how fast a person can cross, he must for his companion. If #1 goes with #2 it takes 2 min to cross. If #2 goes with #4 it will take 10 min. The flashlight cannot be thrown, instead it must be carried and delivered from person to person(someone has to go back and forth). The 4 people are trying to make it across in the fastest time to make an important appointment.

What is the fastest time in min. for them to cross the bridge?

    explain how you got it!

    GOOD LUCK!

  • Is anyone else getting annoyed with Twilight?

I know I am going to have a hoard of Twilight fanatics freaking out, but hold on for a second let me explain... I found Twilight on the shelf at my local library and decided to read it. I thought it was really good and have since read the other books, which I also loved. Going through the Books and Authors section I've relized that at least 1 in 10 questions are about the Twilight saga and its starting to become a little rediculous. The thing that annoys me most is when people ask for book recomendations someone almost always puts Twilight Series no matter what specific type of book the person wanted. Twilight is great for young adult readers but if someone says they like authors like Dickens and Jane Austin why in the world would they waste their time on a book that can't compare?! I admire that Stephenie Meyer can write a book that can hook teens with out that much questionable content (hello Gossip Girl) but people need to chill out a little with the obsession! Does anyone agree?
