How can I stop Adobe Photoshop Starter Edition 3.0 from starting up and downloading pictures from my camera?

I just got a new Canon SX100 IS and I want to use the software that came with the camera instead of Adobe that I used before. When I plug in my camera, Adobe automatically starts and downloads the pics.

Update:

I haven't been able to find where do de-select Adobe in the preferences. Usually I am at least somewhat tech-savvy, but this has me baffled! I don't really want to uninstall Photoshop, but I might end up doing that.
