FYI, I'm an SF Giants fan, and yes, I had an alterior motive. I wanted to see if the Yanks/'sox rivalry was "all that." Obviously not. Everyone here's too tame. No mud is being swung. This been reworded with "SF Giants" and "LA Dodgers", there very well could have been a rumble somewhere half way between Northern California and Southern California, like, say, a highway exit off of interstate 5 like "Williams" or something like that, to resolve the rivalry disagreement.

BTW, 20-22 isn't "stinking it up" except by unrealistic Yankee fans standards. It's, eh, adequate, run-of-the-mill, average.
Based upon the Yankees' runs scored and runs allowed to date (173 scored, 179 allowed), that 20-22 record is spot-on. They're getting no luck, good or bad; they are playing exactly to where they might be expected to play -- a whiff below .500. Start hitting and score more, or pitch better and allow fewer runs, and that will change to the good. Don't, and it won't.

Look at the two injured players, Posada and A-rod.
Just for your information, they were responsible for over 25% of the Yankees run production last year buddy. Just wait...
Oh yea and a few years ago they started 11-21 and won the division. You're just worried that they wont stay like this for long.

The publicity stunt of pulling out the fake Ortiz jersey leaves the true curse on the Yankees :)
It's all about curses and superstition and nothing about aging players and weak pitching.
