Old ipod headphones, new ipod??
I just recently bought a ipod nano video
However, I used the OLD headphones that came with the ipod mini that i bought, about 3 years ago. I plugged theminto my nano and i could barely hear anything unless i turned the volume up nearly all the way! and the sound quality wasn't very good either...
So is there something wrong with the headphones ? or the ipod?
are the old headphone compatible with the ipod?

Compatible, yes.
A couple of things you have to check:
...if you have the volume limiter switched on on your new ipod
...check your music ripping method - did you turn it down to low quality - in which case causes the low volume and bad sound quality?
...it might sound silly, but did you *firmly* push the headphone jack all the way in?

i like the older ones extra too. they seem cool and that they are cooler and extra tender. they seem lots cooler. they're additionally extra handy. they're smaller and simpler to slot in a bag or a backpack. So yeah the older ones are lots extra desirable and lots cooler. Bye
