Doesn't life hurt more than death?

When you die, the pain is over.

Update:

The days are bright

and filled with pain

we just repeat

and call that sane!

Update 2:

these are the thoughts

that make me choose

to dare to live

to live today

why must people destroy life

for the artistic ones

why must the academics

make art a bore

is it not important

to live creatively

if that's what it is

that makes life relevent to you?

Update 3:

this is the end

beautiful friend

this is the end

my only friend, the end

Yes especially if you sum it all together, as death is when everything stops!

but when you don't live, you cannot understand how precious death is...lol. But seriously, life is a pain in the @$$, but you have to look @ it as an opportunity, a chance to make all your hearts dreams come true, and you know...you can't chase your dreams when your death, so better start living for today, and to see death as your enemy, not your friend, when you really choose to , you can find all life oppurtinities and you'll understand the value of life when the time has come, I think. Maybe you should try to find your own philosophy lol..

depends on how you look at it.

you can say that when you die, you are expreiencing infinite pain, and will continue to experience it forever as long as someone doesnt resurrect you.

or you can say what you just did, that death is an end to the pain, which is kind of a happy way to look at it.

then again, you can say you dont have to experience pain at all when you die, for all we know, our souls go to heaven/hell

before we die or are experiencing the pain, and the body just acts out the last parts of our life, so that no one will know what really heppens at death.

also, how can anyone really judge what it means to be dead when they havent died? (not saying you should)

That depends on where you're headed when you die. It is false to say that when you die, "That's it." What I'm saying is NOT about religion; even people who've had near-death /real-death-&-revived experiences have confirmed, that there's a real hell and a real heaven. There's only one of those places to go when each of us dies. In hell, there's nothing but pain and torment. Forever.

But in heaven there's no pain, no tears, no scorching heat, or suffering. Those who go there arrive on God's terms, through His Son Jesus Christ. Now that's a relationship and real life, not religion.

the pain may be over for you but the ones you leave behind wii mourn the loss of you.so you see we are all in a no win situation.

When you die - EVERYTHING is over. That included the good stuff, and all the future oppertunities for good stuff.

Plus, no one here is qualified to say what death is like... I don't think. It could be worse.
