Good heart rate for a 14 year old guy?
I just measured my heart rate and it was 55. I just sat down and measured. Didn't have any rest before. My resting heart rate was measured at around 45-48. That seems low. Is that normal?
Well, I run track, lift weights, and do football...

That does seem a little low, but it really depends on how athletic you are. An athletic person normally has a lower heart rate because you work out so much that you heart is practiced at pumping blood so in turn you need less beats to pump the same amount of blood. Think of it as tall people and short people; short people take more steps to get to the same destination as tall people. Anyways its better to have a slower heart rate, so if your still alive now keep up the good work!

The norm is between 100 and 120 for daily life, with 70+ for a resting beat. To actually get a "workout" your heart rate has to hit over 130, with 150 being a great cardio workout. You'll be fine.
