Why is it so Rare to get a mature answer on Q/A?

We have to cater to the lowest common denominator here.

Because rarely are the questions mature. Most are crafted in a way to be condescending to the sect or group that the person has a disliking for. Most of the people here are young and have little education and even less tact. There is just too much hate.

Now, that being said, there are a lot of people here who are kind and educated. And to those i apologize if you take offense to this post. But as I have said before " I am mean to ignorant people." It isn't going to change.

It really depends on the time of day, and day of the week. If you are on here at differing times throughout the course of a typical week, you will notice the tone, even the mood changes. I do know there are several individuals that come here that are incredibly intelligent-both atheists AND believers. Also, some are here that I suspect may be young.

This is just what I have noticed. It does vary.

So many of the questions on here deserve an immature answer. When there is a mature question on here, I normally at least attempt to be serious (whether it actually works or not... well that's up in the air.)

You're looking for a mature answer on a internet chat room called Yahoo! full of anonymous people with fake names and colorful avators that you can customize with facial hair and accessories?????

I think you are in the wrong areas. Certain section draws those who can not provide intelligent answers so they insult and offend and think that is cool. Try other topics, there are many people who like to help others.

Because you have a lot of immature 11 to 15 year old on here giving advice, as if they knew what they were talking about.

Its because there aren't many mature people here at times. You may want to wait untill after bedtime to visit.

Because many individuals do not take these questions serious. This site could be very beneficial to all if everyone looked at it that way.

i think it's because some people are more interested in belittling others and making fun of others beliefs than they are about seriously answering a question.
