anyone had any luck with hyper milage???

I've used increased tire pressure to increase my mileage. But the ride is noticeably rougher, so I wonder what I am doing to increase my repair costs over time. It does extend the life of the tires, though, and gives me better mileage. As far as driving 55 to save gas, that is impossible here. The road rage that I have been subjected to as a result of me slowing down has been intolerable. Makes we wonder if my speedometer is off - and it may be - but I have to keep up with traffic. I'm worried about being shot at.
