What books by Stephen King do you think are good?
To my fellow Christians-please no judgmental remarks about why I read books by this author. If you can't resist making any critical remarks as a response to this question, than don't bother. Thanks for your cooperation.
I liked reading Carrie, Misery, The Stand, Needful Things, Cujo, The Shining, and It.

Not really a King fan, I find most of his books to be way too long winded. Having said that, I enjoyed "The Long Walk" the most, followed by "Pet Semetery" and "The Eyes of the Dragon".
The worst? "Cujo". It would have been a great short story, but as a novel it was hundreds of pages too long.

Ohhh man thats totally got to be different seasons which is a book of four stories written by him including "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption" Movie made out of it. " The Body" Made into the movie Stand By Me(one of my favorite movies too) and two others which i have yet to read. But i also liked The Shining, and The Green Mile.

I prefer his earlier works, such as It, Salems Lot, The Talisman(with Peter Straub), Firestater, Thinner, all of the Bachman books, The Stand, The Shining, Dolores Clairbourne, etc. to be my favs. I find the books he has written since his "accident", difficult to read. I quite enjoy Tabitha King's books; who happens to be his wife. They both have a keen wit that I enjoy very much.

By far may fave is The Green Mile. I also liked "Eyes of the Dragon." Not a tradtional Stephen King type novel.

I only liked his early works. His books since IT have all seemed off the mark to me. I will read one if and only if there is nothing else around. He used to be my favorite but I feel that he hasn't had an original idea(one that would be considered as horror that is) for a book in a while.

I think The Stand is one of my favourite books, by any author, and definitely Stephen King's best.
