I've been trying for 20 minutes, have removed practically all punctuation; they're still on coffee break! Meanwhile, I'm answering in another category.

And why do they suggest I post my question to Sports--Hockey?

I answered the same question (re Alan Paton's "Cry, the Beloved Country") four times, over the course of four hours, and each time got notified they were on coffee break when I went to submit it! I'm frustrated, aggravated and fed up! I would imagine the person who asked the question, who's had no replies, may be a tad frustrated as well.

Can anyone tell me the name of a hotel on the east side of Avenue Rd in the block north of Bloor? Don't know when it opened but it was definitely there through most of the 1960s.

And a very exotic cocktail lounge/restaurant located near Summerhill subway station, East Asian with palm trees & bridges ... maybe "Ports of Call"?

Did any of the books you loved as a child disappear before you could introduce them to your own children? What were they? Any idea why they were banned?

I know where Huron County is. I know where Stanley township is. I cannot locate any sign of Drysdale. Can anyone provide precise directions?

Census 1911 lists Arthur McLaughlin, wife and two young sons; 146 inmates; no live-in servants at this address (now a heritage site). Might it have been a nursing home (perish the thought)?
