Having received a PERFECT answer, but only one, how can I rate it as best?

You have to wait for four (4) hours after asking a question in order to choose the "best answer." That's to give folks a fair chance to log in and find your question. Many of us log on and off periodically during the day and we may not be online when you posted.

Once the four (4) hours have elapsed, go back to view the question. You can do that by clicking on "My Profile" near the top the page, right hand side under the word "discover."

Once you're at your profile, look under your avatar (photo) and you'll see a list of all the questions you've answered plus a tab you can click to see the questions where you were chosen as "best answer," the questions you've asked and the questions you've starred.

Click on the word questions and you'll see the list of your questions, click the question and it shows you not only the question but all the answers. There will be a blue box under each answer. Click the box of the answer you liked best. You will get 3 points for choosing.

Be sure you pick the "best answer" before the time for answering expires or it'll be too late, it'll go into voting.

This is easy..especially if you want a quick best answer and have been given it..just wait 4 hours and go give your 10 points to that answer..do not worry about reading any others that may come in during that time..it is also the fairest way to give your best answer ratings away!

u have to wait about 4 hours before u can chose it as best answer u may even get more answers after 4 hours

go to "my profile"

go to "my questions"

check for a message under the question saying "check for best answer" click on the question that does

click on the "chose as best answer" blue button under the persons answer that u want to chose

rate the persons answer by clicking on the number of stars u think it deserves based on how well u think it answered your question

put a comment in the box then click "submit"

I've had only one answer before and was able to rate it as "best." You just have to wait a few hours.

You just have to wait about 2 days and then, there will be an option you can click on that says choose as best answer.

you should be able to, besides you have 3 answers now....

just give it some time, it will be an option soon
