What do you do with this guy!????
I have a very dear friend who I am very fond of, we are very close. BUT, he moans all the time, is very self centered, says things like "I will always be alone" "I want to kill myself" in a way that is like a catch phrase if you know what i mean?
Plus he hardly ever pays for anything! if we go for coffee others have to fork out! I am making him sound rotten which he is not! But these are the things that irritate me.
If you tell him to pay for his own coffee he will get all irrate and dramatic, "Oh god I dont have money!" He is rude to waiters too.
He can be funny fun and a delight to be with. He is also very popular oddly!!
But he is starting to drain me.
what do I do?

and guys he does have a job and earns more than me!

Tell him the truth about himself. Either that or dump him as a friend, because if you don't you'll grow to resent him so much you won't ever want to be around him and you'll lose him as a friend anyway.
Just be honest with him.

If it's a very dear friend..tell him to stop being so sh!tty...
It really an't go on like this...or you think it can?~.~
And when you go out you don't get much money, so you will tell him you're almost broke now and or forget your wallet
or if you really going crazy by him...
tell him to f|_|ck off..(thats what I go do with some guy like this)

usually guys with no money are very edgy and get irritated fast becuase guys have a very big pride issue. and if they dont have money they feel almost empty. and their pride goes down along with their self confidence and self esteem. i would say try to find him a job or help him find a job.

Yeah, tell him he won't get very far in life if he continues that way, and to snap out of it.

tell him to get a life and get off his butt and go work for a living. he is using his popularity to get others to do stuff for him. he is a user.
