All three major religions believe in a GOD by any name through faith. Why isn't this enough to get along?

We like to seperate ourselves from each other, create insecurities and fears so that when our governments and religious leaders decide something has to be done they have lots of fodder.

What do you mean by "all three major religions?"

After Christianity (33%) and Islam (21%), the next largest group is 'nonreligious' at 16%. After that it's Hinduism (14%). They believe in multiple gods. Then indigenous religions.

I find it funny that Judaism (which I assume you're referring to) is often given a place in the 'big three,' despite the fact that Jews are only 0.2% of the world's population. Even in western countries where we expect it to flourish. In the UK, there are more adherents of Jedi than of Judaism. Seriously, it's in the census data.

Some people believe that it; '' doesn't matter what you believe, as long as you believe in God''

    Is that Biblical ? No.

The Bible clearly states and teaches, that the only way to God the Father is through Jesus Christ God 's Son. ( John 14:6).

The God of each is not the real God or they could get along. If they would all read the real God's words and integrate them into their religions we could all get along.. His word is available in the Conversations with God books and available at the library. God bless

My God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the father of Jesus the Christ through whom He made all things. John 1:1-14; John 17:5; Hebrews 1:1-2; John 8:58.

It is not enough if they teach their followers to hate and possibly kill those who do not know their god or follow their god's rules.

Because they all believe in the God of Moses, the serpent, "I am that I am", the devil, the giver of the 10 commandments and the 613 laws of Moses.

Jesus and God the Father gave us, the spirit called "Man" 76 commandments which were written on our hearts, not on stone.

How can you believe the God of Moses was God the Father, even when Moses brings down the 10 commandments and then kills 3000 of his own people in the name of his God, you still believe in him.

Jesus told you that it was the dragon who caused Noah's flood, but Moses will have you believe it was God the Father,

Moses has taken the name of God in vain, and deceived the whole world, by the miracles he did in the sight of men.

To Judy t00....humanity is not man-made.

You show me anyone who can make a

human (I'm not referring to producing a

newborn baby)" The God of the Holy Bible was the Creator who created everything in

and of the world. It all began somewhere

and it's all in God's Word of truth, from

beginning to end. He is the only God...all

others lived, preached, and died but none

rose from the grave alive but one. Believe

in Him and you will have life everlasting in

the most beautiful place you've never ever

imagined. If you don't want to, God won't

kill you, but when you die....that's it. No

other so-called God can save you from

    spiritual death.

Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism? I don't think they get along all that well.

If you mean the religions of Abraham, it's important to note that they branched from each other because of huge differences of opinion regarding doctrine. Not only do they disagree on what they feel are key tenants, most, if not all have spent time oppressing each other (their subbranches) when they we're connected.

It's more than enough for me. Just being nice would do.

Perhaps it's time that we associated behavior to people and not to groups?

"Why is it that some people don't get along?" might be a better question.

Many more than three faiths fight over what is right and wrong. Just within the Christian faith they fight and kill. Just look at the Catholics and Protestants.

Clearly religion creates conflict and wars that are merely a muse for control and power.

Simple, because they are not the same gods. I may know a man named Bill, and you may know a man named Bill, and we may think they are the same person until we begin to describe them. Then all of a sudden we realize we are not talking about the same person. So it is as soon as the Muslims begin to describe their Allah, immediately you will recognize that it is not at allthe same god as the God of the Bible.
