I have just bought an old, second hand washing machine (Crystal Lady 410). It is loaded from the top. There is a door on the top and beneath it, a drum that rotates around a horrizontal axis. To load/empty, there is a door in the drum that must be aligned to the top opening.

Having worked successfully once, it is now stuck. The drum door is not visible or accesible.

I speculate that the problem may be that the door in the drum has come open and the clothes are obstructing the spin, but I don't know what to do.

Any suggestions to diagnosis, repair or where I can find details on this model of machine?

My grlfriend is Swedish and cannot believe that the UK would have anything better or safer than Sweden has, but I'm pretty sure I heard that the British 13A is the safest in the World. So who's right?

Christianity seem to fixated on evolution and the after life (and why Jews don't follow Jesus).

Muslims seem to ask if everybody hates them and what's forbidden by Islam.

Jews (and Jews pending) seem to constantly be asking about conversion.

Atheists just seem to take the p|ss out of Christians.

What does this indicate about the focus of each of these groups?

I want to be a Messianic Jew, but I believe the true fulfilment of this belief is to ultimately reject Jesus and follow the laws of Judaism as they were originally intended.

Is this compatable with true Messianic Judaism?

Why do they do this?

If so, has it always been wrong?

There are plenty of things we see these as wrong now that were acceptable in the past.

Is murder, stealing or child molestation wrong in a society that embraces it? If they weren't wrong, why are they now?

I'm looking for a possible replacement to religious dogma as an unwavering moral yardstick.
