Can I become a good Messianic Jew if I reject Jesus and follow Torah?
I want to be a Messianic Jew, but I believe the true fulfilment of this belief is to ultimately reject Jesus and follow the laws of Judaism as they were originally intended.
Is this compatable with true Messianic Judaism?

So, everybody's agreed that you can't be part of two contradictory belief systems.
Excellent!

LOL... What a funny question...LMAO.....
There is no such thing as "messianic" Jews, as Judaism and Xianity are contradictory.

Messianic Jews are Christians not Jews because they believe in the divinity of Jesus. If you are Jewish you can have only one religion.

I think the question is why. Why do you want to be a Messianic Jew?
If you want to because you love Jesus, then I don't think anything would have you reject him.
If it's curiosity, or perhaps because the idea sounds cool, then I think you should consider deepening your current faith. Rather than changing it any.

"Messianic Judaism is a religious movement whose adherents believe that Jesus of Nazareth, whom they call Yeshua, is both the resurrected Jewish Messiah and their Divine Savior.
As of 1993 there were 160,000 adherents of Messianic Judaism in the United States and 350,000 worldwide. As of 2003, there were at least 150 Messianic synagogues in the U.S. and over 400 worldwide. The number of Messianic Jews in Israel is 15,000 members.
Messianic Jews consider themselves to be Jewish. However, Jews of all denominations do not consider Messianic Judaism to be a form of Judaism. Many Christians consider Messianic Judaism to be a form of Christianity."
I had never heard of this before .... But according to what i just read .... I don't understand why you would want to reject Jesus? It doesn't seem compatible .... as first stated.

LOL - nicely done :)
And just for anyone out there who hasn't been following our debates:
'messianic jews' were NEVER Jewish - they are and always have been CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES.
They weren't born Jewish
They haven't converted TO Judaism
They violate Judaism
They practise Christianity
Maybe 1% of them were Jews to start with - NOW that they practise Christianity they are....... Christians!
And they are apostates to their fellow Jews.

Messianic Jews are ones who came to see that the Messiah has already come. Maybe they will see the truth when Christ returns.

The Jews of old were told when and where the Messiah would be born, they rejected Him because He was born of a poor family although being the line of David His bloodline was royal, the jews expected Jesus to be a mighty warrior who would fight the Romans and rule with kingly honour whilst on Earth, but they missed the point and, sadly so do you,the only time Jesus will return is in glory to judge the living and the dead,if you reject Him He will reject you.
