What can i do to make my lips not get dry and all cracked during winter?

Don't lick your lips, drink more water and use aquafina lip oil. I have used several products... even over prices salon products and this aquafina lip oil (make sure it's the oil and not the stick) works better than anything I have ever had my hands on. It works instantly and it's only like 1.50.

Your lips were probably dehydrated and didn't have enough moisture in them and so they dried out and chapped. I have this problem and the best thing to do is apply petroleum jelly liberally on your lips. Once they have softened up a little, put warm water on a washcloth or an old toothbrush and gently go over your lips to peel the dead skin. Don't peel them by hand!! That will really make it hurt.

all my life, i've NEEDED my lips to feel like they've been wetted. when i was little, i had to stay in the hospital for a good long while because i had such a severe outbreak of coldsores -- spread because i HAD to always lick my lips.

anyway, i always have several types of chapsticks and lipglosses stashed around.

i like to first use a medicated lip balm, then lipgloss. (because i need them not only to be unchapped, but slick-feeling.)

to be honest, i'm most fond of just plain vaseline.

certain chap sticks work really well. like burts bees wax or carmex. you jsut have to use it alot and often so it doesnt wear off. but carmex works best to prevent craked or bleeding lips. it just has a different smell. bees wax smells really minty

i have an addiction to chapstick

and i have owned alost every single one, haha.

i have tried burt's bees, and all those good ones.

and the best one i ever tried was alba.

alba chapsticks smell the best out of all of them,

and the ingredients are all organic.

you can find them at bath&body works,

walgreens, etc.
