Question about fat burning??

Ok I have read everything about cardio only burning fat after 30 minutes or so of cardio.... My question is how does this work if you lift weights with pretty good intensity for 40-45 minutes before doing 20 minutes of cardio??... will the carbs be depleted enough to burn fat at that point or should I be doing more cardio??

thanks in advance

That should be fine. What you want to do is build muscle with lifting heavy weights then run afterwards to really burn the fat. With the more muscle you have the faster you are able to burn fat. Also, I imagine the longer you run for, the more fat you're going to burn.

If your already doing an intense weight training workout you don't need to do additional cardio to burn fat since weight training is your best way to burn fat and is cardio ( you are huffing, puffing and sweating-right?).

Just be sure that you vary your weight training so that you work out all areas of your body not just 1 specific area.
