re-download songs with higher bitrate?

i have my itunes library encoded with AAC files at 48kbps. is there an easy way to download every song (from limewire) again at 128kbps without resetting the play count or playlists? i have around 900 songs, and i really don't feel like downloading them all again manually. is there any automated way to do this?

to my knowledge to date , there is no software that can do what you are asking.

first of all you have them in AAC, and if you try to download that from limewire it might be DRM locked, big help that would be

you also want to keep your play count and playlists, it would be impossible since the play count stays with the file for example: if you have 20 copies of that file all copies of the files would have their own play count

also the playlist corresponds with the file name as it is on the hard drive ex (c:\\music\artist\sample.mp3)

sorry for not giving you the answer you were looking for

    good luck with your dilemma
