I've been bulimic for two years. I may not know everything about it, but this is what's happened to me:
My throat is constantly sore and bleeds often. (Started within 2-3 weeks of becoming bulimic.)
My teeth have been stripped of their enamel and are very sensitive and prone to cavities. Drinking coffee hurts almost as much as drinking ice water. (Started 1-2 months after becoming bulimic.)
My knuckles are calloused, inflamed and scarred from hitting and scraping my front teeth. (Started after 3-4 weeks and keeps getting worse.)
My cheeks are rounder and puffier. (Started after 1-2 months.)
I often feel weak, dizzy, chilly and lightheaded. (Started after 2-3 weeks.)
I can't go anywhere without thinking about my next purge, how to get away from my family, friends or boyfriend so they won't know I'm throwing up. (From the very beginning.)
It's difficult and sad and gets out of control quickly.

Binge eating can result in the stomach being over-filled, which can cause tears in the lining.
Vomiting erodes the lining of the esophagus, decays the teeth, and can weaken the muscles that separate your esophagus and stomach.
Your body goes into "starvation mode", and when you eat, everything possible gets stored as fat. Being in "starvation mode" for extended periods of time can cause extreme weight gain when a person stops the behaviour.
Your body doesn't get the nutrients it needs. Our bodies require key nutrients every single day, not "sometimes". Not giving the body what it needs will result in vital organs shutting down.
Not giving the body calories will result in the body doing what is necessary to survive--it will, literally, break down body cells to try to stay alive. Your muscles will disappear, bones will weaken, skin will thin, hair will stop growing (even fall out), ....
The amount of time that it takes things to happen depends on a lot of things, such as the severity of the ailment, how often the person binges, how often the person vomits, the person's everyday activities, the mental outlook, and more. It could take as little as a week for there to be noticeable damage, or it could take a couple years. But, even a week of bulimia-like behaviour is dangerous and harmful.

your throat can hurt bad, depending how long or often you do it. and sometmes the back of peoples teeth get really nasty. And if you don't binge enough you can't puke, so it would lead to more weight gain..
