Is there any way to remove data from a cd-r disk eventhough it is said you can't ?

Update:

A friend I talked to a lil while ago mentioned using a magnet. I wonder if it would work.

Destroying the disk is the only way I can think of. If you are wanting to remove information so that you can add different information then, no, you can't.

Edit: Yes, using a powerful magnet could destroy the data, but that would fall under "Destroying the disk".

If it's burned, no. The data is permanently written. I think it's possible to just copy to a disk but I'm not sure. My old teacher used to do that.

About the only thing you can do is record a new session without importing the old sessions(s). The old data will then simply not show up in the table of contents.

it depends on what is on the disk and how did you put it on there. With Nero, you can put and erase data on a cd, but if you have burned it on there, then theres no way once you finalize it.
