is this a good price for braces?
I went today for a consultation, I'll have ceramic braces on top and metal braces on bottom. The total price is $5350, it would be $500 less if I put all metal. The price includes the emergencies and the retainer that I will have to wear after 2 years of treatment when they'll take off my braces. Oh, and I live in Long Island, NY (the location probably makes a difference in price). What do you think, is it a good price?

Unfortunately, that is what braces cost. The sooner you get them on, the sooner you will get them off and get to eat caramel apples again! Good Luck!

I think the place does matter, because in some places, people have more money to spend. I think that sounds about right. It is different for everybody, because they have to wear them for different amounts of time and need different things.

My sister got hers priced at about $2500. Then we got $500 off and we than got insurance and stuff and it came to aboutt.. $1423
