And just why does Senator Obama think he's got this all locked up?

He didn't seem to do a very good job for the people at home, then he went to the senate . After two years in the senate he desides to be the most powerful man in the world. When ask how, he answers with what he is going to do, not how. I'd like to know how.

He has no reason to think this, other than banking on the fact that there are many uninformed people who would be willing to vote for him for literally no reason.

The Democrats will undoubtedly control the House and the Senate in 2008 (probably with very sizable majorities). He will have little opposition.

Whether one supports him or not there is little question that he would be able to do quite a bit if he was elected President.

Obama will be less than 100 delegates from locking the nomination after tonight. He will have the majority of pledged delegates (of all pledged delegates possible) tonight as well. He is also very likely to get a further increase in Super Delegates after tonight.

He does have it pretty much locked up. It would take a miracle for Hillary to win at this point.

As far as him saying "how" he will implement policies - listen to all of the candidates. Do any of them really detail "how" they will do anything? It's not in their best interest. No one is going to box themselves in that much before they even get into the white house. It wouldn't make sense for their administration, and it wouldn't make sense in a real-world sense. Things change all the time. The more promises they make, the more they could possibly have to go back on which equates to negative ratings. He, like the other candidates, has set goals. He has a general plan of attack, but none of the candidates is going to sit down and detail their first 100 days for you, it just doesn't make sense.

I suggest you go to the candidates' pages and read the issues that are important to you. YOu might find more substance there than you thought.

Hillary would have to win out all of Oregon, Kentucky, Montana, Puerto Rico and the rest of the states after that in order to catch/pass Obama.

If he takes 1/3 of the delegates from each of those states he wins the nomination.

The likelihood of Obama not getting at least 1/3 of the votes is a lock. Unless that is, you think Hillary can sweep every election from here to the DNC.

I'm not for either one of them but I do find it funny that Hillary thinks she can be John McCain when she can't even win her own party.

Because he's winning, no matter what metric you use to count: popular vote (with or without FL and MI, with or without the caucus states), delegates, superdelegates, number of states won.

He is mathematically near a majority in pledged delegates.

Personally, I love the way the media says, "Obama WILL reach a milestone today." Oh, so the media is deciding the outcome of the race? Not like they haven't been pushing for him all along...

I'd like to know how he plans to do what he says, too. ut we won't find that out till it's too late, I fear.

It's called Math. Give it a try. Obama will be the nominee because he has the voters, delegates and Super delegates. That's the way it works.

He has a BIG Ego. you can't touch this attitude. Makes promises of change............................. With no real action on HOW. Uses scare tactic with the older people. OH don't forget he will come and get you if you attack his wife. Repeats words in his speeches, something all students of a speech class learn for dramatics. Wife giggles when he stands up for her. Uses words like er, uh and and. Makes the rules but breaks them when it does not involve him or his family. Smiles alot with his big teeth. Insults americans then claims his words were twisted.

Because Hillary has been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

Maybe because he has as much experience in being a president as McCain and Clinton and the simple arithmetic favors him. But then, who needs math...or reality?
