Is there an alarm clock that does not allow you to turn it off for a certain amount of time?

i need something that will in no way fail to wake me up no matter how tired i am. and i can't just be able to turn it off and go back to sleep. i know i am not the only person in the world who has an issue with turning off an alarm and going back to sleep without even realizing it. someone has to have invented something that doesn't turn off for like an hour.

Update:

ok i have 3 alarm clocks. one by my head, one at my feet and another on the other side of the room. i turn all three of them off and go back to bed without even consciously realize it. so the other side of the room thing does not work for me. sorry!

Haven't heard of one, but I got one that is on wheels. When it goes off it shoots off the dresser then starts rolling around the room. Getting up to chase it to turn it off usually (by usually I mean annoyingly always, lol) wakes me up.

I'll post a link when I find it...

I had a bad habit of turning mine off in my sleep so i got one of these.

    Somewhat like mine:

I used to have a Samsung Soul which had a outstanding array of alarms! Now I rather have a Blackberry typhoon which, so a techniques as i can make certain, has in basic terms one. So i take advantage of that interior the morning (7am, hitting snooze till finally 7.30am). I even have an previous holiday clock which I save in my son's room in case I nod off whilst i'm putting him to mattress. I sleep through that one approximately two times each and every week, and the morning one approximately as quickly as each and every week - they're the two set rather quiet with the intention to no longer wake my son. this is not any longer proper that plenty if i'm no longer up interior the morning, as i do no longer initiate paintings till finally lunchtime.

I'm thinking of my daily "get up" screams a my daughter who does exactly that - shuts off her alarm and goes back to bed. I'd really like to find an alarm clock like the one you describe! Maybe you need to invent one if one doesn't exist already!

You resolve that problem by putting the alarm clock on the other side of the room. You have to get your buns all the way out of bed in order to shut it off...

Wmayer99 summed it up exactly. You place it on the other side of the room and turn it up full blast.
