What kind of Hot Sause does T.G.I.F use on their Hot Wings?

A co-worker is dieting and cannot eat the wings themselves but wants to put the sauce on her own boneless, skinless chicken and bake it. She really loves the sauce. Any ideas what kind it is?

We get our wing sauce in pre-packaged plastic bags, and the label says only "TGI Friday's Wing Sauce." It's not any particular brand.

From taste, however, it seems to be made of cayenne pepper sauce blend, some form of oil, and a hint of vinegar.

If you want something that tastes like it, try mixing Frank's Red Hot sauce with margarine in a 2:1 ratio, and then adding a dash of vinegar. That should be close.

Source(s): I'm a prep cook at TGI Friday's. I make their wings on a daily basis.
