How to keep fine hair clean looking for longer than a day?
I have very fine hair but it's long and I have bangs. I wash it really well and it looks great until the end of the day. Then, it starts looking greasy and seperated, even though I washed it that morning. Is there a certain shampoo I can try that will keep my fine hair looking clean and healthy for longer? I prefer organic shampoos but I am open to any suggestions. Thanks.

i have the greasy problem too... i use this leave in spray shampoo called psst you can buy it at a local cvs or walgreens kind of place... follow directions on the back though cause if you don't your hair looks gray even though it will just come out in the shower.

Try not putting conditioner on the top. Only put it on the bottom. Also, carry a little thing of baby powder with you. When it starts to look greasy, go to the bathroom and sprinkle some on the top of your head and massage it in. This will soak up any extra oil on your hair. Also try not to touch it too much. The oils on your hands comes off on your hair and makes it look dirtier than it really is. I have the same problem with it. I wash everyday and it still looks greasy..

the baby powder suggestions are good, but to prevent getting to that point....i'd say try a shampoo designed for oily hair, and only condition the ends of your hair [dont do the roots]... and only use a small amount of conditioner.

Head and Shoulders > all shampoos :P
If you avoid touching your hair a lot... oil on the hands gets in the hair... I've heard that helps.

use a dry shampoo on your roots or put a little bit of baby powder on your roots to soak up the oils and get some volume :}

They used to have a spray called PSssssssssst. If you can't find that anymore, just sprinkle a little powder in your hair and brush it through, it will help it look better for awhile.

try using a bit of baby powder to soak up some of the grease. you can even get travel sized ones and keep one in your purse.i like it for after work when i feel kinda dingy but cant get to a shower right away
