What do you think of people who have children before 20 planned or unplanned?

I think that it was the best choice I made along with getting married (both at 17), and buying my house at 19! Worked great for me :)

EDIT* We chose to have a baby and move out here and start a life together. The only shock in our situation in the 6 yrs together was that we never expected to have twins lol.

I think whats done is done, and as long as the mother steps up and takes care of responsibilities than mor ethe power to her. I think some people spend alot of time criticizing young mothers and or mothers who get pregnant out of wedlock. They forget that the most important thing is wether or not the child is happy healthy and loved!!!

Not to mention, back in the day 14 year olds were forced to marry and bear children with older men. Atleast these days, woman have a choice of who to sleep with and when to have children (granit rape and unplanned pregnancies may intrude) but people should focus more on the happiness and well being rather then the age of the parent.

My grandmother said to my now fiance, " You guys should get married so that your daughter can have a real mommy and daddy!" B.S. Marriage has nothing to do with ones love . I know that was not your question lol, but its kind of a subject that goes along the same basis.

Best of luck whatever your intent was with this question i hope my info was useful!

Nothing abnormal. I had a daughter at 17 and it was unplanned so I dont see judging people. Thats like sayin all people who have tattoos are bad people or all people with a southern accent are hicks! Im southern by the way.

I guess I think they can do anything they want... Even if they have a child at a young age.

I was 16 when I had my first daughter.

Maybe it made things harder. But I managed to care for her to the best of my abilities.

I nursed her for 13 months. Kept her by my side. Did everything I could to be a good mother to her.

    Shes 9 now.

I think that we are no one to judge them. Everything happens for a reason and if there is someone with a child before 20, I commend them for keeping the child and not taking the easy way out.

personally i dont feel anybody has the right to judge anyone.

if they were to get caught with a pregnancy...and gave birth to the child...i have all the respect in the world to that parent. they could of gotten an abortion...but obviously are steeping up to th eplate and taking care or there child. what concern is it ofyours?

I don't think any differently of them than if they were 30 or older. My sister was 19 & it was unplanned.Granted she was married, but that still doesnt mean anything. It is their business & I have no place to judge them or anyone else.

im 19 and have an 8 month old baby so i hope people do think anything bad. just because were young doesnt mean were bad parents. it all depends on maturity.

I think that people will be people, you should not judge, however, many do. Things happen for a reason, it is all in GOD's hands. But we know our consequences when we do it, protected or not. That is our choice.
