chemistery question....please HELP!!!?

i may sound stupid 4 asking.....but i am really having trouble and the teacher aint helping none....

The speed of a sound wave is 340m/s what is the wavelength of sound when the frequency is 440Hz?

    please dont pay attention to the first two answers...they are just being stupid...

    here is the equation that you need:

    Speed of the wave = Frequency x Wavelength

    so, you need to know what the wavelength is, so you solve the equation above for wavelength which is:

    wavelength= speed of the wave/frequency

    now, you just plug in your values...

    wavelength= 340/440

    so wavelength= 0.773

    i am preety sure that this is correct, so i would double check this...good luck and i hope this helped..:)
