Subliminal Conditioning in The USA..?

Let me preface my question by saying, I am a 62 years young with only a high school education and my knowledge of the subject matter is liimited to only reading, listening to and absorbing information. I am not seeking acolades and only wish to get a larger understanding from a variety of people. Also since my question really pertains to the American society, those who are not American but who have viewpoints are also welcome to reply but from an "outsider's viewpoint". I say this so you will be able to understand my selection of terms, their difinitions, verbage and grammar. With that be said, here is the question and rationale.

1. Do you think or feel that Americans over time, have become a society of people who have been placed in to (by design or otherwise) various "buckets" that are labeled as male, female, old, young, by race, sexual orientation and whatever other category and therefore fail to accept the true meaning of being united as a one society?

I think the biggest buckets we've been conditioned into falling into are the dreaded "conservative" vs. "liberal". Or if you prefer, "republican" vs. "democrat".

They've done this to maintain a division among us so that we fight over these "parties", when really the parties are filled with the same kind of people... wealthy elitist who don't care about the common person.

They appear to have different platforms on the surface, but once they get into office, it's more of the same. No matter who wins, we get screwed. But they still manage through the gestapo party action, the main stream media, and the debates to divide us... where we end up fighting over which elitist group is going to screw us this time.

The "buckets" you are referring to can be called by a different name. It all boils down to "collectivism". Collectivism is putting people into groups, essentially so you can manipulate and control them.

Just as an example, let's look at "gay rights". This term itself is very collectivist. They are grouping gay people into a group to see if they can give them more "rights". This is insane. We all have rights as citizens of the U.S.

    They are called "INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS".

We all have rights as individuals, not because we belong to a particular group. Trying to give someone more or less rights because they belong to a group is collectivism.

Another example is "hate crimes". If someone kills another person for being black, for example... they have killed someone. Don't we already have a law against murder?? Why do we need a new law to make a bigger deal out of a crime that's already punishable by life in prison or death? This only serves to further divide us as people.

Collectivism is a big problem all over the world. This is why the Arabs hate the Jews, the blacks hate the whites, the poor hate the rich, etc., etc. If we would all start treating each other as fellow HUMAN BEINGS, we'd go a long way to solving a lot of the problems in society today.

If you wanna join the fight against collectivism, I suggest joining a group called Freedom Force International. This is the fight they are fighting all over the world. Collectivism in any form only leads oppression and lack of freedom for the individual........

As an American ... & a human I can say that it's not limited to this country alone. It happens anwhere there are small minded people who never "step outside the box" & think & view life on their own terms. For some it is only a period in their life & then, lucky for them, something comes along & broadens their horizons. For others they live their lives as lambs being lead around by their noses. But I don't feel it is limited to the American culture exclusively. It can happen in any culture, country, religion, etc. where people aren't encouraged to think for themselves.

i think it is true that we are too often labelled categorised and boxed off. this often destroys our individuality, i do not come from america but i recognise these same issues here in UK. i am not sure if this was design or default but there are definitely people that use these distinctions to control us. to unite us against a common enemy, or to persuade us to drive a certain type of car. you say that fail to accept the meaning of being one society. but we also overlook the fact that we are one as a human race and that all living creatures are here by the same grace.
