Where to find the best info on Cancer?

Hi, I just found this while reading news of Ted Kennedy. Having gone through breast cancer 4 years ago, I wish I had access to all the sites linked in this article

There is also a good Cancer directory which lists all websites for every type of cancer, support groups, wish organizations, personal pages, journals, issues, prevention, fundraising, treatments, charities, hospice, special needs, end of life, memorials, cancer centers, research centers with about 2000 sites:

    www. breastcancer.org

i have found it to be the most helpful one for me because it is run by ONC doctors.

theres a chat room and discussion board for patients and every so often they have an area where you can ask the doctors all sorts of questions

i love the chat room the best sometimes it just may be somethhing simple bothering me and i can ask other patients instead of asking my doctor about wigs ect ect

    For a layman explanation, try:

    http://www.cancerdoubts.com/

It's not written by doctors, but it does explain cancer and cancer treatments in clear jargon-free language.

I would say the American Cancer Society has a lot of information on their website about all types of cancers.
