Hello,..it is called "the garden state"............. not the newark state. HBO and all those shows only concentrate on a certain area of NJ. Even at the end of the show the credits have the listings of the towns they filmed in....same towns.. and towns in Jersey are small.

Jersey tomatos, jersey cows.... horse racing is big here but they live on huge estates IN NEW JERSEY. Our property tax and our car insurance are the highest in the country...yet if it was such a **** hole then why do people continue to move there? Why is it that for the square footage of the state we are the most over crowded? Because NJ is not just a place ....as the california guy said yeah it snows in NJ, and cali is sunny..... NJ isn't just a place,..it's an experience. We have heart. We have pride. We have an identity. Whatever we are that you all think is less then about us, then I know you aren't from a place of pride and that's why you just don't get us.

Hey,..they sold alot of t-shirts about jersey boys doing it best .... I amagine one or two were bought by outta towners on one of those seaside sping breaks by a girl or 2..

'Cause Jersey isn't really a classy town, it's not got a good reputation, and there's a lot of people in the media/in movies/on tv that show Jersey residents as thinking they're perfect, when they're definitely not.
