Is there any way of finding out where someone is from on Yahoo! Answers?

The reason I ask is that in some categories people say "Why don't people from your country understand that ... is for ..." mainly in the special ed category which seems to be a dumping ground for all the things that YA can't figure out where to put.

I know on my profile it does not say where I am from and it doesn't say it on anyone else's profile I have looked at so how can you know where someone is from?

Update:

This just seems to be a general statement - when someone puts their question in the special ed section and it doesn't really belong there. I've seen it a few times and I don't think this person would have gone to all the hassle. Is it just a blanket statment having a go at people and generalising?

I agree with robgentle. I guess most people in the military, police force, government, or even college. You can easily figure where people are from with a little research/detective work. Just look at the questions and answers of a person you can narrow it down to what country there from. Then if you dig further you can figure the region/city there from. It would help if you give little information as possible. Even you avatar helps in figuring the area of the world. No 360 profile, hide your questions & answers, limited your contacts, have a screen name that has nothing to do with your name. And watch how you answers and asks questions. Of course, if you were that paranoid, you shouldn't be on here.

My profile not only says where I'm from but where I am now! A simple email usually can answer that question...don't be shy!!

you have to ask. Maybe by asking the question people will be writing more specific questions.
