DVD to iPod converting - Audio problems?

Ok, so I used Videora ipod converter plus the standard decrypter to download my DVDs onto itunes for my ipod nano, and I have done about 15 with no problems. However, I recently tried downloading Narnia, and it worked, but the sound is about five seconds off from the actual video, enough to make the movie unbearable to watch. Any ideas/suggestions to fix it? I have downloaded it twice now, and the same thing has happened. The DVD is fine.

Also, as a side note, I tried downloading Apocalypto, and it won't even start the decrypting process.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I do own all the DVDs personally, and the both work fine.

The problem with the audio being off from the video I'm not too sure how to go about fixing that. Do you mean that the audio is 5 seconds off all the way through the movie? Or that at the start its fine but by the time the movie is finished it is 5 seconds out of sync? If you have quicktime pro then there is a good guide here http://www.electricdeath.com/blog/1231

As for your Apocalypto DVD it may have copy protection which Videora cannot handle. I have a few DVDs for which this is the case.

Assuming its the same problem that I have with my more copy proteced dvds then DVDFab from http://www.dvdfab.com/ will get rid of that copy protection. It does cost money, however I just use the free trial version, it lets you remove the copy protection from the DVD, however you need to use another tool to do the conversion for iPod.

The website http://video2iphone.com/ gives a guide on the steps to follow. You might be able to use Videora once you have used the free parts of DVDfab, or just use handbrake (which is free) as shown the guide.

You need to make the video is mp4 format for iPod. If not, you may try some third party software. I recommend Cucusoft DVD to iPod Video Suite to convert DVD movie and convert videos in any format to iPod. It is the fastest converter I have used. You can download this software free from here
