WEB DESIGN HELP... Need program suggestions....?

I use WeBuilder by Blumentals. It's easy to learn and has WYSIWYG, and is very inexpensive. Here is the link.

Like you I wish I could afford Dreamweaver, however I have used several inexpensive programs and currently use

I used Macromedia HomeSite (an Adobe product now) for a couple of years...but not the latest version. Get it here:

Both allow free trial.

Check out the Adobe site. They have armloads of outstanding web design products. Yeah, most of them are expensive, but really good products like Adobe Elements 6, is cheap & high-quality. ( I use it & I love it. ) If you're not interested in that, check out the Corel site. Same thing with them, but these two companies may help you. =D Good luck!

Try Notepad++, it has all the features you will need (such as syntax highlighting more many languages and multiple open tabs). It's also free. I know of other free ones, but this is my favorite.
