When Elvis first started out, IMO, he was somewhat of a rebel because of the way he moved when he sang; swinging those hips. When he sang on the Ed Sullivan show, the cameras would only show him from the waste-down. It was a wholesome show and they didn't want it tarnished by such suggestive moves! Girls thought he was sexy.
I think he started a revolution, giving freedom to performers to sing and move the way they wanted to and it continues today.

I think it sort of loosened the music & dance styles up a lot.It used to be mostly slow dancing in my school befor Elvis. Now days i think anything goes!!

i like one of his music "don't be cruel" i think it has a message in it that tells u some thing
