I really want the name of this movie?
It starts of with some kid in a cage and some witch is about to cook him. It's not hansel and gretel by the way. It is a horror movie and it has stories in it like creepshow. One of the stories is about a monster of some sort with wings and I think it tells some guy not to go out at a certain time or something. The monster winds up being the guys girlfriend I think. I also think the guy was an artist or something like that. If you know the name please tell me I've been dying to see it again.

Tales from the Darkside: The Movie (1990)
aka Creepshow 3
IMDB synopsis:
Three stories are bound together by a "framework" tale in which the other three are read by a witch (Deborah Harry) preparing to cook the paperboy (Matthew Lawrence, younger brother of Joseph "Joey" Lawrence). "Lot 249" features an animated mummy stalking selected student victims; "The Cat From Hell" tells the story of a feline which cannot be killed and leaves a trail of victims behind it; "Lover's Vow" is about a man who witnesses a bizarre killing by a creature who spares him~if he promises never to tell what he saw.
TRIVIA:
"Tales from the Darkside: The Movie" is considered by many fans and Tom Savini himself to be the official "Creepshow 3". Following the success of "Creepshow", Laurel Entertainment toyed with the idea of a TV series. After several negotiations and changes, the decision was made to change the title for the series to "Tales from the Darkside", to be helmed by none other than Romero~"Creepshow" director and "Creepshow 2" screenwriter. After the series' great success, just roughly three years after "Creepshow 2" hit theatres, "Tales from the Darkside: The Movie" came to fruition in 1990 as the successor to the original two "Creepshow" installments, sharing many of the same crew.
Three cast members of this movie also appeared on the "Tales from the Darkside" (1984) TV series: Deborah Harry, Christian Slater and William Hickey.
In the episode "The Cat from Hell", a TV is showing a scene from "Martin" (1977), also written and directed by George A. Romero. This story was originally intended for "Creepshow 2" (1987) but was dropped due to budgetary reasons.

Actually, this type of film is called a portmanteau movie. Some call them anthology films, but "portmanteau" is the correct word. I learned this while researching films such as "Vault of Horror" and "Dead of Night". For some reason, it stuck in my mind.
"Lover's Vow" is my favorite, as it is so heartbreakingly sad and tragic. It's well-played by Rae Dawn Chong and James Remar. The creature is wonderfully realized. This segment reminds me of one in "Kwaidan", in which a lover's promise is broken with equally tragic results.
I included the information about how this actually is "Creepshow 3" because I found it so interesting, especially because I love "Tales from the Darkside", the anthology series, and have many episodes videotaped.
