Why are we, as a society; allowing doctors to abuse their patients?

One would THINK that this kind of abuse would be on the top of the list of the WORST kind of abuse imaginable. After all, patients go to these doctors for help, just to be emotionally, physically, and/or sexually abused.

Strangely enough, doctors who abuse are MORE LIKELY to get by with it than any other person! After all, who is going to believe the patient since "they are" the patient? A patient who went to that doctor to begin with BECAUSE they had a problem they needed help with.

On top of that, there is nowhere left to go once one has been abused by a doctor. Obviously, other "doctors" aren't going to help you. So now, not only does this person have the original problem they saw that doctor for, but they also have a new problem of abuse by that doctor.

Somebody out there tell me where the JUSTICE is in this situation?

some doctors take advantage of their patients weakness since they no longer have any other option other than the doctors themselfs.now what happens in the sick room is a secret btw the doc and the patient.bending of laws is what makes the doctors go scot free if found abusing their patients.

Abuse and cruelty is an integral part of our 18th century medical profession, as you say nobody can prove anything because everybody believes the medics. ( it is not only the doctors )

because the world is run by a higher authority and that higher authorities are part of general practinioners and psychiatrists and so on.

i agree that we should rise above this because honestly the system in completely stuffed and they know it but they wont admit it.

unfortunately theres nothing we can do though, make a complaint and hope that the person who works this out is on our side and believes wat we hav to say.

    excellent question i must add.
